The ornate central embellishments have been highlighted to bring out their sculptural detail, while the original-style decorative drawer knobs add another layer of character.

The frame is finished in a rich, deep forest green, creating a dramatic contrast with the luminous drawer fronts. Subtle highlights to the feet complete the look.

And there’s a little surprise inside, too. The drawer interiors have been lined with a botanical print, adding an unexpected decorative detail that makes opening each drawer a pleasure.

A piece for the creatively minded.

I can imagine this chest working beautifully in an eclectic bedroom, a characterful hallway or a creative studio.
