Sturdy mahogany chest of drawers, hand painted.
This vintage set of drawers has been stripped back of its original varnish and refinished in a stylish black and metallic design.
While the sides and legs are a rich black, the top and drawer fronts are the star of the show.
Metallic pigments have been layered over each other to create and individual finish. Colours range from green/bronze, hints of teal, copper and light gold.
The lower drawer interiors have been cleaned and revived with a scented furniture balm, the top interior drawers have a pistachio finish.
The original handles have been revived with a hint of bronze.
The entire item has been sealed with a durable satin topcoat for added protection and a beautiful sheen.
