Standing 113cm high, this characterful vintage chest combines useful storage with a completely individual artistic finish — created and painted entirely by hand in my studio.
A truly individual vintage chest of drawers, hand painted in a beautiful blend of layered greens with subtle tonal shading and highlights that give the piece depth and movement.
I’ve deliberately allowed the different shades of green to blend into one another rather than creating a flat block of colour. The result is a rich, atmospheric finish that changes beautifully with the light.
The drawer fronts feature decorative detailing and vintage hardware, which I’ve enhanced with the painted finish to complement the character of the piece.
The darker green outer frame provides contrast and helps define the ornate drawer fronts, while the decorative details add a touch of faded grandeur with a slightly eclectic, bohemian feel.
This is a genuine one-off piece, individually painted by hand in my studio. No two pieces I create are ever exactly the same.

A little about my furniture
I specialise in giving carefully selected vintage and preloved furniture a completely new identity through hand painting and layered decorative finishes.
Rather than disguising the age and character of vintage furniture, I like to work with it — retaining its individuality while creating something that feels fresh and completely different.
This piece would make a wonderful statement in a bedroom, hallway, dressing room, living space or creative home and offers plenty of useful drawer storage without looking like conventional modern furniture.
