A truly individual piece of hand painted vintage furniture, created for those who love furniture with character, texture and a little bit of the unexpected.
This vintage pine console table has been completely transformed by hand, using multiple layers of colour, texture and subtle metallic washes to create a beautifully aged, timeworn finish.
The main body has been painted in deep blue-green and soft turquoise tones, with gentle variations of colour showing through the layers. The ornate decorative details have been highlighted with washes of muted metallic, adding just enough warmth and shimmer without taking away from the aged, rustic character.
The top has been given a tactile plaster-effect finish, with subtle texture worked into the surface before being enhanced with a muted metallic wash. The result is wonderfully imperfect and almost stone-like, with different tones and textures revealing themselves as the light catches the surface.
This isn’t furniture that has simply been painted one colour.
It has been built up slowly, layer by layer, to create depth, movement and an individual character that cannot be replicated.
The turned legs and decorative detailing give the table a lovely vintage feel, while the unusual colour palette and textural finish make it equally at home in a contemporary, eclectic or rustic interior.

I particularly love the idea of styling this with natural textures, ceramics, old books, greenery and collected pieces — allowing the furniture itself to become part of the story of your home.
As with all of my furniture, this is a one-off, hand painted piece. I don’t use a production-line approach; each item evolves as I work on it, meaning no two pieces will ever be exactly alike.
