A beautifully unusual piece of vintage Hillstonia pottery, chosen for its wonderfully sculptural shape and warm, earthy character.
With its sweeping open rim and distinctive arched handle, this ceramic basket has an organic quality that makes it much more than simply a decorative object. The softly textured surface and warm sandy tones give it a lovely understated presence.
Style it on a sideboard, console, dresser or shelf, perhaps with a few natural branches or dried stems, or simply leave it empty and allow the beautiful shape to speak for itself.
I particularly love pieces like this because they bring texture, shape and individuality into an interior without needing to be overly decorative.
